As part of our expansion plans as a growing, global organization, Costa Rica was chosen to open a Shared Services Center, which started operations in December 2020. While our Costa Rica business office is based in the beautiful and sunny province of Heredia, at a convenient We Work building with wonderful co-working space, most of our global team members in Costa Rica are able to work exclusively from home.


  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units that . Work with  HR/Site Leader to create and implement Employment Marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria, to maximize effectiveness of the interviewing and recruiting/hiring process and regularly follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for globally distributed teams.
  • Leveraging technology, market research and analytics, execute proactive candidate sourcing to reach passive candidates (cold calling, networking, identifying applicant associations/pools/professional groups and affiliations, websites, Boolean searches, job board mining, etc.) for key roles and markets.
  • Sell UA Brand’s employee value proposition in a compelling way to attract top talent.
  • Develop, analyze, and report on key metrics to drive improvement of overall sourcing and selection practices.
  • Provide talent market insights, competitive intelligence, and talent demographics as appropriate to enable HR team and hiring managers to be best informed on industry trends.
  • Research and develop recommendations to establishing partnerships with 3rd party talent providers (temporary agencies, search firms, etc.) as well as educational and vocational training educational institutions.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or similar.
  • Fluent in English, 90% .
  • Strong experience sourcing and screening for IT positions is a plus.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking systems is required.
  • At least 5-7 ears of professional level end-to end staffing/recruiting for all organizational levels from entry level to corporate staff
  • Using social media to source candidates.
  • Recruiting through multiple platforms including LinkedIn.
  • Multi-national recruiting experience required (including recruiting candidates for roles based outside of Costa Rica including other LATM countries, USA and Asia)
