Overview

The Image Specialist / Image QA is a hands-on role, performing their own share of retouching work as well as reviewing the work of other retouchers as assigned by RGB Team Lead.

Retouching duties include retouching, recoloring and editing of product and model images for CMYK and web. Includes color correction to match digital color swatches, compositing, masking, sharpening, resizing, clipping paths, adding shadows and highlights and creating reflections and cast shadows. Responsibilities including learning and becoming proficient in mapping print images with Ned Graphics 3D rendering software. The position requires the ability to understand our specific brand aesthetic goals and must be able to elevate any selected original image to meet or exceed our standards. All work must be checked to meet our quality standards and checklists. Including checking multiple sources to verify data before it is sent to a team lead or auditor. Every team member is held accountable for meeting key performance goals and standards.

Image QA duties are to review all garments created by team to ensure quality control on all final product images for details, given instructions, color and quality accuracy as well as brand standards before images are sent back to the US teams.

 There may be times when the you will need to log or track time spent per garment, task or project.

Additionally, this position should continually monitor and research industry best practices and technologies to produce incredibly beautiful and color accurate images as efficiently as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Retouching, recoloring, editing images and video. Creating mapped prints. Composite studio imagery into lifestyle photos Create color swatches
• QA and proof their own as well as the teamwork
• Continually evaluate industry best practices and technologies and standards to produce incredibly beautiful and color accurate images and efficiently as possible

Required Skills Including Systems Applications / Software Utilized

• Thorough knowledge of Mac OS
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software particularly Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge
• Prior experience in photo retouching including color correction, compositing, masking, resizing, optimization, file output and management
• Open and receptive to learning and critiquing
• Experience with digital post-production for print
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail

Job Requirements

• Must be fluent in English
• Prior experience in photo retouching including color correction, compositing, masking, resizing, optimization, file output and management
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software particularly Photoshop, Camera Raw and Bridge
• Project or team supervision, task management or project planning

Special Skills/Training Required

• Advance color management and color matching techniques
• Extremely detail oriented with project management skills
• Project or team supervision, task management or project planning a plus
