Now hiring! An HR Intern at Uniform Advantage (UAN)
ABOUT THE ROLE
The HR Intern role is responsible for hiring strong candidates into a variety of positions. In addition, this position will be involved with external recruitment sourcing strategies and employee relations. The HR Intern will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the departments and locations to deliver best talent in the organization. In addition, the HR Intern will guide hiring managers and candidates through an efficient hiring workflow process while maintaining, optimizing, and managing the applicant tracking system within UKG. Additional responsibilities include assuring that candidates have a positive employee experience. This is an on-site position, not eligible for remote assignment.

- Base pay starts at $18 an hour
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, as needed

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units. Create and implement Employment Marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria, to maximize effectiveness of the interviewing and recruiting/hiring process and regularly follow up to ensure timeliness of recruitment/hiring process.
- Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews with employees and managers over phone or in person; track and analyze data using Excel; monitor retention/attrition via the use of survey reports and turnover data. Create overview of findings monthly to discuss with Human Resources Manager. Identify, select, and manage external training and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
- Responsible for operation of the applicant tracking system to include job description templates, job postings, candidate profiles, and administrative functions.
- Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Bachelor’s degree or Human Resources/Business/Psychology or related fields preferred
