 We're a growing company with high demand for our products and services, so we're adding new positions! UA Brands' global operations are supported by our high-volume warehouse / distribution center located right outside of Atlanta, Georgia in Lithia Springs.  Our Warehouse Team Members serve a dual role to keep our operations running smoothly by picking orders as well as by completing the shipping release and packing of orders.  As an Inventory Control Lead, you will participate in the execution of slotting processes, cycle counts, physical inventory, shrinkage reduction, and continuous improvement of functional programs/areas.

 

 *** Pay $17.00 hourly***

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates daily activities of 1-10 team members as directed by Manager; inspires team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
  • Executes inventory transfers for efficient slotting purposes, reassigns active locations for improved throughput of the fulfillment operation.
  • Performs cycle counts as directed, records results, and adjusts inventory levels as required.
  • Effectively queries inventory and all order-related transactional history.
  • Matches order forms with invoices, and records the necessary information.
  • Researches inventory discrepancies and solves incomplete orders for same day shipment.
  • Maintains integrity of the physical inventory by location.
  • Ensures performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved; generates creative solutions to identify improvements in processes.
  • Collaborates across departments to drive optimal productivity; fosters an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.

Requirements

  • Hands on approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with Cycle Counting.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Powered Equipment use.
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service-centric.

     Physical Requirements

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. 
    • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
    • The employee must regularly lift, push and/or pull up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds, and may infrequently be required to lift, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. 

     Your Warehouse Work Environment

    • You will experience moderate noise levels from the warehouse / distribution center’s mechanical and computer equipment.
    • You will often work near moving mechanical parts and will occasionally work from places high above the ground. 
    • You will be working in a warehouse environment with high temperatures (and occasionally cold temperatures.)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of functional Inventory Control transactional experience including: cycle counts, adjustments, slotting and physical inventories.
  • Knowledge of WMS systems.
  • Minimum of 1+ years warehouse operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Applications.
  • Previous experience in a lead capacity or progression of duties to show capacity.
  • Power Equipment Certification.
