Overview

UA Brands is looking for a highly motivated AVP, E-commerce and Digital Experience to join our team!

The AVP, E-commerce and Digital Experience will serve as the product owner and SME for our e-commerce platforms and digital customer experience strategy and execution. The Associate VP of E-commerce & Digital Experience will lead our e-commerce transformation project for the first 12 months, implementing SalesForce Commerce Cloud for B2C and a platform specifically selected to support the B2C sector of UA's business. This role will lead and define our new consumer digital experiences through research and analysis.

This role will also be responsible for executing functional requirements gathering alongside our internal teams and system integrator. This qualified individual must have a proven track record of working effectively in an organization of significant size with the ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams. Excellence listening, conflict management, and collaboration skills are key. Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work quickly, efficiently, and strategically with a wide range of internal departments.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities and prioritize workflow for the maximum impact on business growth: Oversee all project management related to e-commerce sites including working alongside internal development teams and 3rd-party vendors.
  • Leads the definition of all consumer digital experiences through research and analysis. Executes functional requirements gathering, driving, and documenting of your requirements along with stakeholder requirements into various documentation types, and may be required to created high-level screen mock-ups/wireframes. 
  • Will lead our e-commerce transformation project for the first 12 months. This role will lead and define our new consumer digital experiences through research and analysis. This role will also be responsible for executing functional requirements gathering alongside our internal teams and system integrator. 
  • Performs detailed fit/gap analysis by working with various stakeholders and the development teams to provide an estimated time to develop new functionality or make corrections to existing functionality.
  • Lead efforts in A/B or multi-variant testing to ensure our websites are delivering the best overall customer experience while improving key performance metrics. Ensure that testing roadmap and prioritization are clear and easily understood across the organization, along with the efforts and next steps from testing.  
  • Will be responsible for leading and developing our product content team. Leverage merchandising and content expertise to help develop a best-in-class online experience that maximizes conversion opportunities and encourages more site visits.
  • Work with QA/UAT Lead to support the development of a test plan, test scripts, and organization of the test team. In some situations will be required to perform QA and UAT testing. 
  • Will Play a critical role in ensuring our ERP system and E-Commerce platforms are in sync to deliver promotions and great customer experience.
  • Manage vendor contracts and partner with additional third-party vendors to identify and apply solutions as needed for our e-commerce platform.
  • Will serve as the SME for our E-commerce platforms and be responsible for developing training on using the backend admin. 

 

Requirements

  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end e-commerce processes including, a clear understanding of website infrastructure, content management, product attribution, and customer-facing functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across business units
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with traditional and agile software development, life cycle activities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work quickly, efficiently, and strategically with a wide range of internal departments
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • BS/BA - Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, or Sciences is preferred
  • Experience with migrating of an e-commerce platform for similar retail/ecommerce type business (high SKUs, B2C, etc.)
  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end e-commerce processes including, a clear understanding of website infrastructure, content management, product attribution, and customer-facing functionality
  • Proven track record of working effectively in an organization of significant size with the ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams. Excellence listening, conflict management, and collaboration skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in implementing eCommerce applications using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), and/or Demandware or another eCommerce engine is required. Most recent experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus

 

Special Skills/Training:

  • Mastery of UX/UI fundamentals, web merchandising techniques, and consumer relations/retention principles
  • Customer-centric mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve the shopping, buying, and post-purchase experience
  • Sound knowledge of SalesForce Commerce Cloud/ Demandware including experience within the SFCC back office and admin console is preferred
